FAQs and Main Lore
1. What are they?
The Throps are a generally arthropod-based alien civilization spread throughout the universe. They consist of 143 documented empires that form a loose connection with each other, chiefly coordinating with the Intergalactic Council.
3. How do their governments function?
Each Throp Empire has an Emperor or Empress, selected from among the Queens or Kings of the planets the empire consists of. Each Empire has 3-7 planets and has its own way of selecting / electing an Emperor or Empress.

Going deeper, each Queen / King of the planet is also selected based on the planet they are based on. Either the whole planet is a solo state (this is self-explanatory) or a bunch of smaller states forming a loose union (their Queen / King is elected).
2. What do they look like?
There are two main body types for Throps: humanoid or taur. More often than not, Throps take the form of the latter. They may have different numbers of legs or extra appendages depending on the arthropod they are based on.
4. Are arthropod-based beings the only inhabitants there?
No. There are humans, elves, equine/quadruped centaurs. Humans have quite a weird history with the Throps. The first known contact was between Teramminian Queen Dexis Aizona II and Chilean Zoe la Pedorra. Recent documents say otherwise.
5. Have there been Throp-Earth hybrids?
Yes. Kai'sa from this universe's K/DA is one. Queen Dexis is her sixth cousin. And yes she also has a termite queen form. More of that in a separate loreposting.
6. Termite Queen Form?
Yes. Throp taurs RARELY have rear abdomens swell up to the size of a giant termite queen. It's a second puberty and is equal parts pain and pleasure to the one undergoing it. They can lay eggs which hatch into the primary arthropod they are based on and bear live young.
